Ian Weatherhead

Ian Weatherhead

Architecture, humour and a quirky perspective are strong themes running through painter Ian Weatherhead's work, which often depict social and sporting events, alongside notable landmarks and features of land and seascapes. He was a pupil of the stained glass artist and watercolourist William Wilson who, like John Piper and Raoul Dufy left a lasting impression.
