With 50 employees ranging from Art Consultants, Project Managers, Designers, Frame Makers, Sales Support and our very own in house artists, TROWBRIDGE offers the complete design and manufacture package.
We commission artists and photographers and control all aspects of print production and frame production to ensure consistent high quality finishes.
In TROWBRIDGE's East Sussex studios, original works are printed using state-of-the-art giclee printers, which offer the highest possible quality of reproduction, while a talented group of artists create original bespoke one-of-a-kind work by hand.
Each piece is then prepared for fitting, hand finished and framed by craftsmen committed to achieving the highest possible end result.
What's unique to TROWBRIDGE is the sheer range of art on offer, from remastered antique prints of Roman Emperor Coins by 16th century artist Hendrick Goltzius, right through to the contemporary statement images such as Eddie Lawrence's Mick Jagger in all of its Grand Britannia colours.
As experienced designers, TROWBRIDGE can source images from the host of image libraries that we have at our disposal when looking for a totally exclusive licensed collection.
The genre of media on offer is wide-ranging, too, with the vast professional portfolio of bestselling photographer Ben Wood, whose imagery covers the equestrian right through to the nautical. Meanwhile our extensive Black and White Archive remains full to the brim with timeless moments and well-loved celebrities.
The exciting diversity continues with multi-disciplined artists such as Charlotte Morgan, who uses a multitude of techniques and materials to develop bespoke in-house designs straight from the TROWBRIDGE Fine Art studio, right in the heart of the action.
Bespoke pieces are truly one of a kind, with the guarantee that each painted or appliqued feature has been made by hand. The bespoke collections offer a touch of glamour in the form of stunning gilded panels, through to the popular and brightly painted book covers.
Meanwhile stunning textiles are on offer from renowned names including Aviva Stanoff and Ankasa, showcasing a variety of luxury materials.
In-house master frame makers and designers are constantly coming up with new and refreshing ideas to keep pace with today's design trends, always keeping in mind the high quality finish required.
"The collections are ever changing and more than 90 per cent of the images we offer are exclusive to us," says Martin Trowbridge, "Twice a year – just as in the world of couture – we produce new art collections that reflect what's hot in interior fashion. But because we offer such a wide variety of presentation options, from different frames to the same prints in alternative colour–ways to jumbo-sized prints, it's easy to achieve new looks when new trends emerge.
Similarly, the right frame and mount can lend a particular feel to a specific work, enabling a traditional piece, for instance, to look just as stunning in a contemporary setting as it would do in a period home"
Twice a year TROWBRIDGE's new collections are showcased at the High Point Market in the US.
Choose from thousands of images and frame styles from our existing collections or we can create exclusive images and frame styles especially for you.
