These Limited Edition fine art prints are by the French artist Jacques Clauzel.
They are individually numbered and signed by the artist.
Jacques Clauzel was born in 1941 in Nimes.
He studied at the School of Beaux Arts in Tourcoing, Montpellier and Paris.
He spent many years travelling and working throughout the African continent visiting and working in countries such as Mali, Burkina Fasso, Ghana, Togo and Dahomey. Taking photographs and painting.
It is here where his work was influenced by the African art that he saw.
He has published two photography books: Ici Bon Photo in 1969 and Les Marchés d'Abidjan in 1972.
He returned to France in 1973 and in 1974 created a workshop for industrial and advertising photography.
From 1976 to 1986, he taught photography at the School of Beaux-Arts of Montpellier.
