Designer Michael Cohen and Lauren Saunders Alspaugh
Michael J. Cohen is a Senior Designer-Property Manager for Marc-Michaels Interior Design. His love of furniture started at an early age, working for his grandfather's furniture store in Long Island. He attended the Art Institute of Tampa where he received his bachelor's degree. Michael started at Marc-Michaels as an intern after graduation in 2013 and has since completed a wide variety of projects all over the world, both residential and commercial. In his free time, Michael enjoys the beach, working out, and spending time with his husband and 2 dogs. Lauren Saunders Alspaugh is senior designer/Interior Design for Marc-Michaels. Her love of architecture from a very early age prompted her to attend the University of Florida (College of Design, Construction & Planning). Since joining Marc-Michaels in 2005, Lauren has developed a passion for her clients, figuring out their personal style and merging it with their needs for the project. She is also very adept at problem solving and working through details. In her free time, Lauren enjoys doing her own home projects, traveling to Europe, reading and especially spending time with her family. . . . her husband and their three dogs.
