Joni Vanderslice founded J. Banks Design in 1986. Since the company's inception she has served as owner and president, growing the company into an internationally recognized design firm of over 40 associates. Joni's design philosophy is part of what makes the company so successful. She captures the client's vision with the same passion as if it were her own. Her interiors are dynamic and ever-evolving and each competed project evokes a feeling of "life made better" through creative design. Joni feels her greatest accomplishment occurs when she creates spaces that encourage the freedom to live life. As the overall design director for J. Banks Design, Joni has been honoured as ASID's Southeast Designer of the Year and has also been named the ASID Dora Gray Designer of the Year. J.
